Pepe López and Borja Rozada will face the second European test, the Rally Islas Canarias – first on asphalt in our country that will also be scoring for the national asphalt- After the good result achieved in the Azores Airlines Rallye, first scoring test, where on ground they got the third position (Under 28) and fourth of the general after a spectacular comeback in the last day of the rallye.
With only one test day last week in France, Pepe and Borja arrive to the islands with the desire and the illusion to perform a good performance that keeps them in the top positions of the championship, aware that to arrive at the end with options it is very important to have a good regularity , Which will not be easy because of their absolute ignorance of the complicated sections of the island.
The Peugeot Sport team will take part this season in four tests on asphalt, of the six planned to dispute. Canarias will be a good starting point, where the sections are very abrasive and the management of the tires will be key to the final result.
The Rally Islas Canarias has 12 sections in two days (Friday and Saturday) and a total of 207.29 Kilometers timed.
